Our Story
We’ve been treating Brisbane’s pests and termites since 1999.
Stevie Redback was created over 25 years ago in 1999. Steve Hughes, the founder and Managing Director decided to start his own company after working as an employee and sub contractor in large pest control firms. Steve and his wife Melinda ran the business, before taking on a full time pest control technician, Allan Holland, in 2001. Alan is still with the company today, and is now Head of Operations. Stevie Redback has since expanded to include an office team of 5 and 13 loyal and expert service technicians.
Now two decades on Steve and Melinda have joined a multinational to ensure the ongoing success of the business which now is made up of a team of dedicated professionals. The team encompasses a loyal and knowledgeable staff of five qualified Senior Operators, four qualified juniors and three Trainees and four friendly and efficient members of the Administration Team.
